In the November 2011 TRSA feature story on Aramark Riverside, Softrol’s monitoring equipment and software are described as the nerve center of the plant.
“Stepping up on a platform overlooking the wash floor, we see three computer screens and other monitoring equipment. This is the plant’s nerve center — it’s powered by a software system from Softrol, Inc. By checking the three monitors, staff can track (in real time) chemical use, goods waiting to be washed and those moving on the shuttle.”
“We know everything that’s going on through this system” says General Manager Vaughn Austin.
